Balancing Work and Joy with Yasmine Wahab

I’m excited to talk today to my client who has turned into a friend, Yasmine Wahab.

Yasmine has been working in marketing and events for over 10 years in the entertainment and tech space. She has worked on events such as Oscars, Emmys, various film premieres but she finds joy in small gatherings with friends and family especially when she gets to spoil them with delicious meals. She likes to focus on the little joys in life especially her lifestyle blog, WhisknWhip.com which focuses on food, travel and decor.

Yasmine talks about her tough upbringing and how that has affected her life and the choices she’s made.

She also talks about balancing her full-time job, marriage, and blog. She walks through how she manages her day-to-day and how she creates so much content from the heart.

She says mental health is very important to her and she prioritizes taking walks outside everyday, spending time alone, and creative writing to help her stay aligned with her soul.

If you’re deeply passionate about something and want to take the next step, Yasmine’s advice is don’t give up and make the time. She references this quote from Oprah, “Do what you have to, until you do what you want to.” Just have faith in yourself and create amazing opportunities for yourself.

I loved this discussion with Yasmine, she is such a positive light. And I hope this encourages you to balance out your life with more joy!
