Scope of Work: Squarespace Web Design

“TBH, I liked all my websites, but I loveee this one because it finally feels like *me* because I finally stopped worrying about other people’s opinions. Karima has designed all my websites since I decided it was time to invest in a professional site in 2020 and this time she came to me and told me to look at the site with an open mind when she sent me the wireframe. After working side by side for the last four years with clients for copy + design, and talking to each other almost daily, she knows me. So when she said “trust me,” I said “okay.” My first thought when she sent the wireframe was HOLY SHIT I AM OBSESSED. Immediately followed by “doubts” that I was literally making up in my head because I’m human and this site is different from everything I’ve done before. But it actually felt like coming home, it felt like me – I decided to finally stop being the watered down version of myself. And to me, that’s the most important thing I can do, especially as a copywriter. Black Diamond talked a lot about “personality” but I didn’t let it show. I’m so excited for this new era.”
