How to Create + Launch Merch

Launching a product shop has been something that I have really wanted to do. I’ve always loved the idea of getting physical merchandise into my customer’s hands. And if you share the same dream, this episode is for you. I’ve learned a lot about creating and launching physical merch from the recent revamp of my online store. And today, I’m sharing it all with you.

In this episode, I share...

  • The mindset and intention you need to have before launching your own merch

  • How to create the physical product from design, ordering, and product photography

  • The difference between dropshipping and having product in-house

  • Getting your product to your customers by way of an organized inventory and shipping

I share my personal approach to creating physical merchandise and why you should never go into it with a “get rich quick” mentality.

You’ll also hear the things that I wish I knew prior to launching my merch, and some of my mistakes so you can avoid them throughout your own process while planning accordingly.

I also deep dive into the entire creative and launch process from how I gained inspiration for the design of my merch, created proofs, prepared my product for display, and the steps I took to ensure that the product got to my customers as smoothly as possible.

“I didn't want to create a cheap product that I would profit a ton off of. Because I know what cheap t-shirts feel like. They're not comfortable and I don't want to wear them all the time.” - Karima
