Managing Stress as an Entrepreneur

As business owners, we experience a lot of stress.

So today I want to share some advice that has helped me deal with stress as an entrepreneur.

Here is how I actively and intentionally practice managing stress:

  • Find someone you can trust to talk to

Just having someone who cares about you listen can be a game changer.

  • Check in with yourself

Ask yourself what you need, and give that to yourself.

  • Check in with what your body needs

Make sure you’re getting enough sleep and not neglecting your nutrition.

  • Identify the stressors

When you identify what is stressing you out you can find a solution for them.

  • Don’t fall back into bad patterns for more stress

Once you address your stress, change the way you work, and establish boundaries, don’t fall back into bad patterns when things get difficult.

It isn’t always easy, but if you can put these practices in place, you’ll see that the days become so much less stressful. You become someone who takes action, who fixes problems, and who gives yourself grace.
