117: Getting Back Into The Groove of Work

Today I’m talking about getting back into the groove of work in this new season in my life.

I love my business. But lately I haven’t felt much motivation to work, and these are the things that have helped me get back into the swing of things.

In this episode, I share...

  • Strategies you can use to manage your to do list

  • Mindset shifts you can make to feel better

  • A reminder to give yourself (and others) grace

The specific tips I walk through are:

  • Clean up your space

Freshen things up to improve your mood and make you feel better.

  • Create a brain dump list of everything you need to do

Once you get these tasks on paper you free up brain space to take action.

  • Reward yourself for accomplishing tasks

This helps create a positive habit loop that keeps you going.

  • Start small

Ease back into things and lower expectations.

  • Knock out 5 small things first

This helps to build momentum so you can accomplish more overall.

Remember, give yourself grace as you navigate whatever you’re going through. Life ebbs and flows and that is okay.
