An Honest Conversation About Mental Health

I am sitting down today to have an open and honest conversation about mental health.

There is a lot going on in the world today. I’ve recognized my own mental health issues for a while and wanted to share a little more of my story and some things I’ve learned along the way. 

Here are a few important ways you can take care of yourself:

  • Therapy

    • Talking to a professional can be really valuable to get a proper diagnosis and steps to take to move forward

  • Diet and exercise

    • Schedule time on your calendar to move your body and order groceries online, make this easy on yourself!

  • Setting clear boundaries with clients

    • Protect your time and energy so you can show up 100% when you need to

  • Getting enough sleep

    • Any problems or outside stressors will be amplified by not getting enough sleep

  • Giving yourself days off

    • Take some time to do the things you want to do

  • Permission to talk about things if you want to

    • This can be uncomfortable, but share if it feels good

So many people are going through hard things right now. I just wanted to let everyone know that it is NORMAL to struggle with mental health!
