I think it is time that we acknowledge that our businesses have seasons that will ebb and flow. This is completely normal and it is just part of the process.

We can’t always be in hustle mode. So today I’m talking about how to take advantage of the slow seasons. These are things you can do to really appreciate and benefit from the down time.

Here are the things I recommend you do during a slow season:

• Allow yourself time to just live

• Get organized on the back end of your business

• Set up a Client Relationship Management system

• Update your website and portfolio

• Plan out your social media content

• Be creative with how you’re networking

• Reach out to past clients

• Create a relaxing space and do a brain-dump

• Educate yourself

Just remember, there are seasons that are push and there are seasons that are pull. We will always have both so we need to be okay with both.
