132: Creating a Pinterest Board for your Brand Project

Today I’m talking about creating a Pinterest board for inspiration.

This is something I do for myself and I have all of my clients do as well. It really helps you get an idea of what you’re actually drawn to.

I recommend that when you create a Pinterest board, you sit down and take some intentional time to pin things to it. This can be fun, try not to overthink it!

If you feel like you’re not finding things that inspire you, try playing around with adjectives. When you visualize what you want your brand to be or where you want your business to go, what words come to mind? Try searching for some of these words and you may find more things you like that way.

Try to pin at least 50 to 200 pins on a board. Fifty is usually a sweet spot where you start to see patterns and themes.

Providing a Pinterest board to your designer is such a good way for them to get a much better understanding of you and your business so they can create a final project that you truly love.

Don’t overthink it, try to have some fun with it, and know that you can always change things as you go.
