118: Updates in the Digital Marketing World

Video content is more important than ever and you can embrace making reels by shifting your mindset around them and starting off simple.

• Limited reach on hashtags

Instagram has limited the reach on hashtags and now recommends you use 3 to 5 hashtags per post.

• Shadowbanning

We now have confirmation that shadowbanning is real and how you must follow the “rules” to avoid being shadowbanned.

The Digital Marketing world goes up and down and my strategy moving forward is to diversify as much as possible. We have to remember that free social media accounts are borrowed land and at any time they could shut down.
