Why I’m Scaling Back My Podcast

151: Why I’m Scaling Back My Podcast

I’m a little sad to share that I’m scaling back my podcast. But I am confident that this is the right decision at this time for multiple reasons.

In this episode, I share...

  • Why I’m scaling back my podcast

  • What my new podcasting schedule will be

  • How this change benefits me and my audience

I have decided to start releasing episodes every other week.

I made the decision to scale back podcasting a little bit so I can focus on a few other things going on in my life.

Lately, I have been struggling to find fresh content ideas and I don’t want to create content just to create content. I want to give myself the space and time to create episodes when I’m inspired.

I created this business and this podcast, I am the boss. So I have to be self-aware and know what I need to do for myself and for the goals that I’ve set. I’m realizing lately that I need to shift what I’m focusing on the most.

I truly love podcasting and I do not want to hit a wall and get so burnt out that I quit completely. This has been such a safe space for me to express myself. It's been therapeutic for me!

This might not be a permanent change. I’m trying to get more comfortable with the unknown. But at this time, this is what I’m doing to better serve myself, and my audience.

I hope this inspires you if you are feeling overwhelmed or overworked. Give yourself permission to let a few things go if you need to.
