Make Social Media Work for You with Kinsey Streib
Today I’m talking with my friend Kinsey Streib about all things social media!
Kinsey, of Feel Good Social, is a social media mentor who helps entrepreneurs use social media to market their brand without losing their soul and sanity.
I ask Kinsey for her advice for people who have trouble creating content. She tells people to first identify what their hang ups are around creating content and posting. Then they can work on those mindset shifts to take action.
Kinsey also discusses putting boundaries around social media so you’re not comparing yourself to others and wasting time scrolling endlessly.
We talk about batching content creation and Kinsey shares how it saves you time and helps you be more strategic. Kinsey’s advice is to keep a story bank where you keep captions or ideas, and a visual bank where you keep images and pictures. Then when you sit down you have everything at hand to batch your content.
And of course Kristen shares her favorite tools and her advice for showing up consistently, and on brand.
Kinsey reminds us that we all have a story and that is what will let people connect with us. It can be scary to share our messy, behind-the-scenes selves, but the more you do, the deeper connections you will make.
